6. After choosing your caterer it's great to book your photographer. GHL offers amazing photography services, and Jamie and Steve would love to shoot your wedding.

7. So, you've got a bunch of stuff knocked off of your wedding to-do list! You can rest a little easy... Have a date night, enjoy your engagement. It's also a great time to think about a few more details- get that outfit (dress or suit!), think about decor (if you have a lot of DIY elements or are having your ceremony offsite it can be helpful to have a planner- we LOVE Lola Event Production and Five Grain Events), choose your colors, and look into florists and videographers. We have a comprehensive list of amazing vendors that's useful for everyone getting hitched in our lovely city.

8. Most of our clients send us questions throughout their engagement and GHL is always available to answer questions in a timely manner. After the initial flurry of activity, planning your wedding can be a little bit of hurry-up and wait, but enjoy it! You'll probably have showers and parties and get to spend some quality time with your future in-laws!

9. About two months before your wedding, you'll start to get more specific with your vendors and venue about floorplan and timeline. This is when you'll send out your invites and start to get replies- it's getting closer and getting really real!

10. Right when it hits you that your wedding is about 2 months away, and the invitations are in the mail, and you're starting to receive replies, it's always nice to have a final walkthrough with your vendors. At Greenhouse Loft, this happens about a month before your wedding. We go over all the little things that may or may not be stressing you out. Our goal at the final walkthrough is to make sure that everything is all set!
